Water Gardening Basics

Water Features & Ponds: A Splash of Life for Your Garden 💧🌿

Whether you’re dreaming of a tranquil koi pond or a sweet, small water feature, this class will inspire you to add a water to your outdoors space—big or small! 💦

In this fun and informative session, we’ll explore how to install both small and large ponds, creating thriving water environments that benefit not just your garden but the pollinators, birds, and wildlife whose neighborhoods we share. 🦋🐦

This winter’s drier conditions mean that water-starved animals are in search of reliable water sources. Adding a water feature to your space can be a perfect way to support these essential creatures, while also enhancing your garden with soothing sounds and vibrant aquatic life. 🌺🐾

We’ll touch lightly on introducing fish 🐟, but mostly focus on selecting the right plants, understanding the unique needs of water-based environments, and tips for keeping your pond healthy year-round (including mosquito awareness). 🌱💧

Come for the learning, stay for the inspiration. This class is free to attend, and no RSVP is required. We always encourage carpooling! 🚗💚
