New Addition Revealed: Canning, Feed and More!

We are grateful for all of those of you who excused our sawdust... our NEW 600sq' space is added and ready for viewing.  In addition to storing feed for all types of animals (goats, chickens, fish), this area has beekeeping supplies and chicken-raising supplies. We also have all sorts of kitchen and canning supplies ready for your enjoyment.  Farmer Bill had a really fun time kicking up sawdust and adding this new space.  He's especially happy about the farm doors he created.

Farmer Bill visits the Windy City, find lots of great ideas!

This week, Farmer Bill boarded a red-eye to the Windy City for the Independent Garden Center Conference. His first investment of the trip was a mini hay baler -- this little guy (which conveniently matches Bill's signature green-and-gold) will bale small batches of hay, giving you the perfect amount for your hens, your small garden, or even as a cute centerpiece to a fall table.

We also found this clever idea: carving out the center plank of a picnic table and planting in the space: think herbs and edible flowers!
