Splitting Carnivorous Plants

  • City Farmers Nursery 3110 Euclid Avenue San Diego, CA, 92105 United States (map)

It's repotting time!

Join us for the carnivorous plant growers' winter ritual: dividing and repotting dormant plants. In this club member led hands-on workshop, we will be dividing and potting up some massive North American Pitcher Plants (Sarracenia), overcrowded Venus Flytrap, and weedy sundews. The club will provide all the supplies and plant materials, all you have to do is show up and be ready to roll up your sleeves. The best part? You get to take the plants home and watch them wake up and grow in the coming Spring.

One plant per genera per person, limited supply.

First come first serve.

Note for our Spring Saturday Afternoon Classes: we recommend coming early and exploring street parking. While we have 1.5 acres for you to explore, our parking lot can get FULL. We encourage you to plan ahead, park nearby, and if you have items you purchase for pickup, just swing by our loading zone for easy pickup.
